This painting like other paintings is traditional painted keeping the miniature or art of book frame work in mind. It is based on poetry of a South Asian Sufi poet Bulleh Shah who talks through the symbols, allegories and metaphors of Divine love and how a human being can achieve proximation with God. This paining has a female figure painted in yellow, a colour of longing accompanied by a peacock that reflects the vanity verses humility.The colour palette is serene and is all blue.
